Conceptual Approach: We batiked most of the costumes to give them age and texture. Hats were made from old baskets from Goodwill.

Shen The, a young prostitute, struggles to lead a life that is "good" according to the terms of the morality taught by the gods, without allowing herself to be abused and trodden upon by her fellow citizens of Szechwan.
